New Hope Life Groups exist to connect people to God, to His Word, and to other believers, as we grow, develop, and strive to live the life God intended for us to live.

3 Connections of a Life Group

#1 – Connection to God

Our connection to God is first and foremost the most important area of connection as it pertains to Life Groups. Prayer and the discussion portion of Life Groups takes place on a weekly basis and serves as an avenue of personal and corporate connection for each of it’s members.

#2 – Connection to His Word

Connecting to God’s word gives life, helps us stay sharp and keeps us in line when it comes to our thoughts, attitudes and measures of the heart. During each weekly meeting, groups are connecting to God’s word through sermon-based questions, accompanied by the discussion of Sunday’s sermon.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; I judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12

#3 – Connection to Other Believers

Connecting with other believers takes place in the homes of those who have previously committed to opening up their home as a host. This connection provides a time of fellowship, breaking bread and building life long lasting relationships, which encourages accountability and trust.

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. – Acts 2:46
